Suzanne has been an ORESTA Hintonburg client since it first opened. As a busy mother of small children and road safety engineer, Suzanne didn't not have a lot of time for skin care. At 39, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and started to care more about the ingredients that she was putting on her skin. She knew that she could trust the quality and ingredients of the products at ORESTA. “Laryssa was a huge support for me at that time.”
What is your favourite skin care product?
I really love the Laurel toners - I love spritzing my face. It is cool and refreshing, and I feel like I am doing something special for my skin at the same time.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don't get me started - this could go on forever! The things that you put the most effort into (challenge you the most), will give you the greatest reward. Try to stress less about things you don't have control over.
Tell us something about yourself that many don’t know or share your proudest moment.
My kids are my favourite people. They bring me joy every day.
What is your philosophy on empowered aging?
Getting old isn't easy. Life gets harder all the time. I think I used to expect that I would figure life out, and then it would get easier, but I don't feel that way any more. Life will keep getting harder, but I will keep getting wiser, and every day that I get to enjoy this beautiful world is the best reward I could ask for.
